I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California (PSY 23823) with 20 years of experience providing psychological services. My passion is providing high quality psychological care to my patients and I have worked effectively with adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, phobias, and trauma. The research supported models of therapy I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference Based CBT (I-CBT), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma. I am Level 5 Certified TEAM-CBT therapist and trainer. Additionally, I am actively involved in training therapists to use TEAM-CBT and treat OCD.
I enjoy working with individuals from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds. As an Asian American therapist, I offer culturally sensitive services to all individuals including people of color, immigrants, women and LGBTQ+ individuals.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my partner and two children, trying new foods, and exploring all the Bay Area has to offer.
